“I began collecting hand painted pendants of different deities quite a few years ago. I felt the nurturing support of their timeless energy and
loved choosing combinations of stone and metal colors and textures to enhance these miniature works of art. “

Ariane’s interest in Indian deities and Indian artwork derived from multiple trips to Pune, India over a 35-year period, while she studied under the yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar. She is a collector of Indian artifacts, fabrics and artwork and creates jewelry using handpainted Indian deities.

Ariane Hudson has been teaching yoga in the San Diego area since 1976. Ariane was awarded the Senior Intermediate Level III Iyengar Yoga Teaching Certificate by Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar in 1993. She is a longtime member and former board member and President of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California. She was a founding board member and Vice President of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States. She has served as Certification Committe Chairperson for both organizations.
